Our team
KAT & JARED
Acrobatic duo Kat & Jared is a Finnish-Australian contemporary circus and dance duo based in Oulu. Their aim is to offer meaningful work for different kinds of venues and environments by playing with different art forms, creating ecologically sustainable and internationally recognised art from a Nordic viewpoint.
Their combined expertise comes from Circus School Carampa Madrid, Masters Degree in Education, DOCH, AcroYoga Montreal and Yoga as well as years of performing and training.
They love teaching dynamic standing acrobatics, throws, flips, hand to hand, dance-acro moves and tempo techniques.
TOM
Tom is a professional circus artist and teachers who started training Dutch acrobatics, upgraded it with Ukrainian technique, refined his work under tutelage of various experienced coaches and incorporated elements of dance and martial arts in his movement. Some of his teachers are: Jim and Det, Wybren Wouda (ACAPA; Codarts), Slava Kukuskin (Kiev; Moscow; ESAC), Chris Murawski (German & Polish Sport acrobat with more than 20 national and international titles).
Tom was born as the only German who is not on time, in Bavaria (Germany). After trying almost every sport he got hooked to acrobatics at the age of 18. During his chemical engineering studies he started performing in various groups, duos, trios all over Europe. After an “early-life-crisis” in 2014 he decided to quit his studies, (which made his parents really happy) and went as a guest student to the circus school ACAPA in Tilburg where he graduated together with Ayla Moes who is currently one of his acrobatic partners. Since then, he has been performing in various festivals, theatres, operas, circuses and dance shows amongst others. The last years he also joined WIRWAR Company, and teamed up with Friedi Kohring with whom he works since march 2020. His combined lack of discipline, natural ability to avoid hard work, love for comedy series, excessive sun bathing and awesome hair style, have created the performer and teacher he is today.
FER & FIFI
Fer and Fifi met in Barcelona and started working together since 2017, in the past few years they have been giving workshops together and have been teaching in many Acro conventions, mainly across Europe.
Fer has been a hand to hand base for more than 20 years and a teacher for more than 12 years. For him acrobatics and aesthetics comes together, when combined with hard work. He keeps looking into different ways to build up your tricks, while going through a good clean technique.
Fifi comes from a background of gymnastics, she has been teaching in the past few years, having her eyes on the flyer, looking for the right path, shape, rhythm and state of mind in every movement.
Together they enjoy teaching the grounds of dou standing hand to hand, both static dynamic. (Such as: One arm, one foot and different types of turns on one hand, courvertte, cascade, handspring, flick, somersaults, different hand-to-hand and hand-foot entries and exits and much more).
